Green Day Delivery
Our driver will call you an hour before to let you know he is on his way. The item will be brought into the room of your choice up a maximum of 3 steps as long as clear access is provided. This offer excludes range cookers due to their weight we will deliver to a garage or drive way if you require your new range bringing into your home you will need to request 2 man delivery during checkout at a charge of £29.99.
Standard FREE delivery for stock items is 48 hours from time of order on any weekday between 8.30 AM and 5.00 PM.
Next day delivery is possible for all orders placed before 12pm please call sales to order 0116 2044970.

If you’re using an alternate delivery address to the one registered with your payment card, then an additional security check will have to be done to prevent fraud. This may cause a short delay with your delivery.
Due to health and safety, delivery drivers are only able to deliver to the ground floor and will not bring appliances upstairs. If Fires-Cookers are recycling your old appliance it must be unplumbed and ready for collection outside the property. The facility to remove packaging is also available from Fires-Cookers, our delivery drivers will only wait while the appliance is unwrapped if this service is selected with the appliance upon purchase.
For delivery on smaller items (e.g. hobs and fires) a full day slot is allocated, for example, a delivery estimation of 8.30AM to 5PM on a day convenient for you. If, for any reason you are unavailable at that time, a card will be posted and the delivery driver will try a neighbour or drop the item to a local depot, which you will be able to collect at your convenience.
With larger items (e.g. washing machines and cookers) a full day slot is also allocated, but the driver will call to let you know when they will arrive.
Fires-Cookers are the only national retailer of solid fuel stoves in the UK, with the infrastructure to deliver on their own vehicles. We have made this investment in order to provide our customers with a level of service expected when purchasing a high value product. Due to the fragile nature of cast iron products during transportation we feel this method of transportation is essential. Couriers that do not specialise in the transportation of stoves may cause cracks in the cast iron which will not necessarily become apparent until after the stove is fitted.
We are replacing our fleet of Iveco vans with new 5 ton, low carbon, aerodynamic backed eco5 Mercedes delivery vehicles.
